Robert Update (by Thorsten Hamp)

Dirk and Paige talked with Faith regarding Robert this morning. It seems that his condition is stable enough that the doctors feel comfortable moving him to Kampala. It will likely be an excruciating 6-hour journey, so we definitely want to lift up some additional prayers. His spirits are good but he has been in a lot of pain.

In Kampala, they will first travel to an Image Center to further assess the extent of the fractures and breaks, and to look for any organ damage/swelling. They will proceed with that information to one of the hospitals in Kampala to see a doctor. We will continue to keep you posted as we know more.

Please help us to offset the cost to provide Robert with the medical care he needs. You can send a check to Embrace Uganda, PO Box 742, Wake Forest, NC 27588 or give online to our “Vital Needs” Category. In both cases, mark the memo field “Robert” so we know it’s for him. Thank you in advance.

In Christ,
Thorsten Hamp
